The Anti-spyware module blocks Web access to well known phishing, spyware, malware, porn, and other harmful sites. The bad site lists are updated nightly. Various categories of bad sites can be enabled or disabled. A whitelist is also available to override any sites in any of the lists. The proxy can be run in the following configurations:

1. transparently by redirecting Web traffic through the proxy
2. using autoproxy functionality
3. statically configuring your users’ Web browsers with a proxy server.
