The Cobia™ Admin module is the central hub of Cobia's web-based management console and is present on each Cobia installation. Admin is the first module you'll see when logging into Cobia. It displays the Admin dashboard, which presents an overall view to monitor Cobia's system health and performance.

The Admin dashboard is a dynamically updated snapshot of system health including uptime, CPU utilization, system load, memory usage, disk space partition usage, and network interface status. Admin is also where you confirgure network interfaces, gateway information, and any virtual interfaces.

Under the hood of the Cobia Admin module is the StillSecure® secure operating system, a hardened Linux 2.6.20 kernel with all the software ingredients needed to use Cobia. You won't have to pre-configure and install your own Linux box as the Cobia installation CD ISO installs the StillSecure Secure OS, all software needed to run Cobia (such as Apache®, Java® and other software), and the Cobia software itself. Future software upgrades will include upgrades to any software packages supplied with Cobia, making every Cobia device very easy to maintain.

Cobia can also be installed using VMware. Download and install the free VMware player or server software (http://www.vmware.com/) and begin using Cobia right away on any existing Windows or Linux box.
